Hukatere Camping Ground, located at the entrance to our property, welcomes all hikers of the Te Araroa Trail. Unpowered sites are available for camper-vans, vans, cars, tents, and RVs. However, you can charge your mobile phone in the communal kitchen. FREE cups of tea are available. We have a wonderful supply of fresh drinking water from our bore. We provide hot showers block and flush toilet.
The dorm next to the kitchen sleeps up to six people.
A separate hut with a wide window front and ocean view provides room for three more people.
Unpowered Campervan Sites
Our unpowered campervan sites can accommodate any sized vehicles and tents.
The cabin sleeps up to six guests and is located next to the communal kitchen.
Lewis-Leha hut with ocean-view
The hut is elevated, overlooking sand dunes onto the Ninety Mile Beach; accommodates up-to three people.
Communal Area & Kitchen
The communal area and kitchen are well-equipped with a table and chairs, gas stove, fridge, cooking utensils, and cutlery.
Hot Shower & Flush Toilet
One of the two hot showers features a sky view. Besides the flush-toilet there is also an eco composting toilet.
Fresh Drinking Water
A supply of fresh drinking water from our bore is available for all guests.
Mobile phones can be charged with energy from our solar panels.
Horse Corral & Pet Friendly
We provide a horse corral and paddocks for horse lovers and pony clubs. Pets are welcomed by arrangements.
